I’m Kat and I run the show around here at 12 Rounds Boxing. That’s not meant to come across as arrogant but 12 Rounds was built from my drive and passion to create a community where like minded people can actually enjoy getting fit and all the physical, mental and social benefits that boxing brings. Oh yeah and I do like to boss the other trainers around too 🙂
I might be small but I have big ideas and a big heart. I’m incredibly passionate about fitness and boxing but even more so in helping people build confidence and overcome any barriers that have stopped them achieving their full potential. Sounds cheesy but it’s true. My passion comes from my own struggle with not only my weight but lack of confidence and self belief. I don’t believe in letting anything hold me back these days. Infact tell me I can’t do something and I’ll sure as hell prove you wrong. I took part part in my first boxing match at 36. Overcoming my own fears and to prove that age or lack of confidence won’t stop me. This is a philosophy I want to share with my clients.

I’ve worked with everyone from celebrities to CEOs and stay at home mums. Even though I love working hard and training hard, I now realise the importance of balance and take a more holistic approach to my training. My 1.1 programmes not only involve a training and nutritional approach but also involve coaching my clients to understand what’s behind their struggles and create not only lasting results but a lifestyle that brings them true happiness.

My programmes are not for everyone, if you just want a workout, I’m prob not your girl.  Along with physical training I focus a lot on mindset work.  In fact I’ll work your brain just as hard as your body.  I believe changing habits and lifestyle starts with re-wiring your brain to change how you think about things
